I love it when my portraits fly off to exotic places. One day I hope to visit some of the places they have gone.
This one has just jetted off to Australia.
It is the second one for this client. It is always good when clients return as you know they were truly happy the first time.
I didn’t post my progress yesterday as this drawing was at its ugly stage. Every drawing has one where you doubt that you have got it right and should you just cut your losses and start again.
We are past that bit now.
This is the last of my Christmas portraits that I have to share with you. I just remembered that I had not posted it.
This is Jimmy Choo.
Here is my version.
Quite a few people woke up to one of my portraits on Christmas Day which pleased me no end.
This is Paddy.
I am still working on secret commissions that I can’t share but I did forget to share this one with you.
This was an anniversary present which was well received I think.
Not just one dog…
But 3 dogs
My photography is not getting any better. It is a good job I can draw
I got to deliver another portrait today to a very happy owner so I can now share it with you.
This is Gem
The owner was so pleased I have some more to do for her. That is the best endorsement you can get.
Time to get back to work
Another drawing finished. I can’t believe I have managed to complete so many drawings. It is never enough though and I have so many more in my head that need to find their way onto paper.
I think this will probably be the last one completed in time for my exhibition at The Garlic Farm (5th July to 25th August). I have a number of commissions waiting to be completed so I have to concentrate on them for a bit.
Anyway, here is Max…. I finally remembered his name. I hope you like him.
