Since my last post I have been ill and have not achieved much. I had massive abscess and a migraine of epic proportions, both of which left me incapable of any kind of movement without pulsing pain.
I am now back to feeling myself again and happy to have my pencils in my hand once again. This week I have the luxury of drawing whenever I like….. in between good food and good wine. We are in France, in a little village called Boufflers and this is our gite.
It is actually the old laundry for this beautiful old house.
It was occupied by Germans during the war and the gite was used by the soldiers so the place is steeped in history.
I am working on some secret commissions this week but I promised to share the next stage of this drawing with you.
He is pretty special.
